We offer the following qualifications ;

GCSE - Maths, English Language, English Literature, Combined Science: Synergy Double Award , French & German, and new for September 2022 Citizenship

Completing some of the GCSE Science required practicals and making use of our surroundings. We also have proven success with the AQA Science Synergy Double Award GCSE

We cover all aspects of the GCSE maths and English schemes, in the English Literature we select appropriate texts from the GCSE syllabus.

FCSE - French and German

These are great recognised qualifications that can be completed in a year and involve building a portfolio of evidence rather than sitting exams.

We have successfully supported students achieve these, when they were convinced they 'could not do languages'.

Functional Skills & Entry level Qualifications

Students can achieve Level 1 and Level 2 AQA Functional skills in both English and Maths, they compliment their GCSE studies.

 The Functional skills exams are timetabled termly, which enables us to spread them out throughout the year. 

 We have year 9 and 10 students who achieve their level 1 and go on to gain their level 2 the following year.

 The Entry level qualification as an excellent way to develop a young persons confidence and self esteem, without sitting an exam it is all an evidence building portfolio which often removes much of the pressure. We have had year 9 and 10 students successfully achieve this qualification after stating things like, '' I can't do maths '' !
